Affairs Catering & Event Planning is a full service
catering company established in October 2008. We provide
services for both corporate events (single or multi-day
conferences, board meetings, training sessions, office
parties, etc.) and social events (weddings, family reunions,
graduations, anniversaries, holiday celebrations, etc.).
Whether your event is for 10 or several hundred or whether
it’s casual or you need white glove service, we
can take care of your needs. We serve an exclusive clientele
and we would be honored to serve you and your guests.

On a personal note, we are owned and
operated by Chef Shawn Holland and his wife of 20+
years and business partner, Jeanine Holland, MBTA.
Chef Shawn is from Neptune, New Jersey and Jeanine
hails from Hartford, Connecticut and they have 2 children.
Chef Shawn and Jeanine met in college, Johnson &
Wales University, Providence, R.I., where he studied
culinary arts and she pursued business. They have
nearly 50 combined years of hospitality and food service
experience and 6 higher education degrees between
them. But the most important attribute they have is
their passion for food, the hospitality industry and
great customer service.
Because they are very customer service
focused, they have driven their business in the same
direction. Chef Shawn and Jeanine insist on superior
customer service and professionalism from their staff.
They also empower their team to insure every client
and guest is happy and has a great food experience.
Their consistent mantra is that “the difference
is in the details and even the little things matter.”
